Thanks for the comment, Rob. And I agree with you. I think the paintings from Picasso’s earlier years are his finest work. His “blue” period drips with depression (a friend had committed suicide). The subsequent “rose” period explodes with color and vibrance.
Unfortunately no photographs allowed inside the museum, but the images are etched in my mind.
I really like Picasso’s early work. Thanks for sharing. This will be a must see for in Barcelona
