Disney says it will take action as Snow White & Captain America appear at Chinese theme park

Walt Disney Co. said it will take action to protect their intellectual property rights after Bloomberg News asked about performers dressed as Snow White & Captain America that appeared in a new Chinese theme park in Nanchang on Saturday.

Billionaire Wang Jianlin officially opened the Wanda City park and it’s the first of 15 parks his Dalian Wanda Group Co’s plans on opening in China.

Jialin stated in response to inquires from Bloomberg about the characters:.

“The non-Wanda characters were operated by individual stores within Wanda Mall. They do not represent Wanda.”
