Shepherd naps while 1300 sheep escape to Spanish city

A Spanish shepherd watching 1300 sheep, fell asleep and his flock went into the  city of Huesca. Police woke up the embarrassed shepherd and  helped him gather the sheep and clear the roadways.

The shepherding tradition still  survives in Spain and every year shepherds lead thousands of sheep  for migration and grazing, known as  the “Canada Real.”

It’s all very understandable.  Everyone needs a nap.  And everyone — even sheep — like to spend an occasional day strolling in a Spanish city.
