TSA adds Facebook to customer outreach

The much-hated Transportation Security Administration has rolled out another gesture for improved customer service, becoming the first Federal agency to use Facebook Messenger to answer questions.

It’s TSA’s second venture into social media; last year it became @AskTSA on Twitter, and has answered thousands of questions through that channel.

Among the most popular questions have been whether certain things could be carried through security, whether the PreCheck lines are open, and the like.
