This tattoo studio is one of many in Newcastle Upon Tyne. It got its name because the woman who started it was told by others in the industry she wouldn’t be a successful tattooist. The name means “To turn ones nose up at one’s competitors”. It is now a very successful studio with 4 or 5 artists, as well as hosting guest artists from all over the world.
My love of tattoos and being tattooed started at 21 and quickly became an addiction of sorts. I now have about 95% of my body tattooed. I just love the vibe in tattoo studios, the sound of the machines…..The fact that artists have the confidence to put a tattoo on someone that will be there after they have passed still amazes me!
