Sunday is a slow news day, so we’ll take the opportunity to cover Air New Zealand’s new safety video, one of the funniest we’ve seen.
Almost feature length at just over 5 minutes, it covers all the required information in a series of parody vignettes of 8 mini-movies, each drawing on a different Hollywood genre—and always interrupted at the critical moment by the voices of the Air New Zealand crew, as in the passionate kiss above, interrupted by oxygen masks.
