As the tide goes out in the Mersey River at Liverpool, the seagulls abandon their swooping and patrol the exposed sand in search of tidbits of sea life and whatever else fortune may have brought them.
And I, walking along the river’s edge, near the Pier Head ferry building, can’t resist the siren call of more bird pictures, and my companion is, for the moment, patient.
There’s Cockles and Shrimp in that there dock mud !!
