(SPONSORED CONTRIBUTION)

As the year draws to a close and the holiday season is upon us, many people take this time to embark on one final holiday for the year. These three different locations are some possible choices to visit for an exciting vacation.

Lapland, Finland

Why not consider a snowy climate to celebrate the holidays? Consider staying in an igloo at the Hotel Kakslauttanen where they are constructed of thermal glass. You can be toasty warm inside while viewing the Northern Lights. The Urho Kekkonen National Park is a virtual winter wonderland. Reindeer pulled sled rides can be taken here or ski the slopes on the various trails. A cruise on the long running ice breaker, the Sampo, can be taken as well.

Choose from a variety of hotels to stay with the Four Seasons providing a traditional meal for the region.

Those igloos and Northern Lights would be fascinating to stay in and see.  Never thought about visiting Finland in the winter — maybe time to. Thanks.
