Fashion Island is an upscale open-air lifestyle center in Newport Beach, California. I had the good fortune of visiting Fashion Island a few weeks ago. As I was exploring this lovely shopping center, I came across a group of people putting the finishing touches on a beautiful Christmas tree.
What can I say…I love Christmas and all it’s trimmings. I hail from the Great White North, so it always fascinates me to see decorated Christmas trees in warm climates, especially next to palm trees.
Kudos to Fashion Island and their staff on obtaining and garnishing such an awesome Christmas tree.

Beautiful Christmas Tree indeed. Best I’ve seen since the NYPD chased me with night stick raised in 2002. In Rockefeller Center when they switched on the Christmas lights. Memorable as the best ever Tree Display.
