Art in the Sky: Delta’s decorated tray tables

In a move that breaks up some of the beige-and-grey decor of most planes, Delta has equipped one of its international-service 767s with tray tables designed by artists, and inspired by a number of Delta destination cities.

The original are also on display at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, Delta’s home base. The artists were asked to draw inspiration from such cities as Paris (above), Amsterdam, London and Mexico City.

Artists include James R. Eads (Paris, top), Alex Yanes (Sao Paolo, middle) and Pedro Campiche (New York, bottom). More can be seen at The Guardian (UK) by clicking HERE.
