A fun past time is to observe the fishermen and other critters on the St. Augustine Beach pier. Access was only $1 per person if you didn’t fish. I captured a few photos of the pelicans on the pier who were anxiously awaiting a meal of smaller fish tossed to them by the fishermen. We spent a few winter months in St. Augustine where there is so much early Spanish American history.
