Disney is extending its Star Wars franchise deeper into its amusement park business, with Star Wars Land set to open in 2019 at both Disney World in Orlando, and the California Disneyland.
And in Florida, that will reportedly include a hotel resembling the Millennium Falcon spaceship, with interactive two-day experiences that involve hotel guests in interaction with Star Wars characters roaming the halls and public spaces. Guests will be given parts to play.
According to the Telegraph (UK), food will be served by droid butlers, and rooms will have ‘views of the galaxy’ in place of windows. Stays will be limited to two days, and will cost an estimated $1000 per person, including meals.
