Paris’s current heatwave, and the prospect of more to come, will keep 16 of the city’s parks open to visitors all night to provide relief from the heat. Another 137 smaller parks and squares are already open 24/7.
The extended hours will continue until September 3, and will include increased cleanup crews. City Hall also announced that “Security teams will make regular patrols to make sure that the openings are rolled out well and prevent excessive night-time noise.” The city has done this before during previous heat waves.
The parks to be opened are spread around the city. Here’s the list:
