At the Summit of Monte Baldo

Yesterday we took a cable car ride to the top of Monte Baldo in the Lake Garda region of Italy.  Today we’re going to the summit!

These three images show the summit of Monte Baldo. On the lower image you can just make out the track running along a ridge behind the trees. Up close this is actually much worse than it looks, it’s very very narrow and the rocks are polished. This is where disaster struck! I fell badly cutting my leg, thank goodness I had a first aid kit with me!
