Air Canada adds Montreal to its China hubs

Air Canada is adding a fourth hub city to its non-stop services to China, with year-round flights starting next June from Montreal. The route, using a 787, will fly daily in summer and three times a week in winter.

Air Canada’s CEO, announcing the flights, emphasized that they are part of a plan to build up the Montreal hub, and to attract business from both Atlantic Canada and the northeast U.S., including Quebec City, Ottawa, Halifax, as well as Boston and Philadelphia.

Air Canada already flies to Japan from Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.
