A new survey makes it clear that it’s worth checking the bill when you’re checking out: 40% of travelers surveyed by GO Group in Chicago found charges for items that weren’t used or had wrong prices.
According to the Chicago-based airport transport provider, 79% of those surveyed do check their bills regularly, with another 11% looking frequently. At the other end of the scale, 6% don’t even look.
Among those who found errors or questionable charges, 75% said they were reversed to their satisfaction. 6% said issues were not resolved, and 17% couldn’t remember.
GO group’s airport shuttles are the descendants of a company started in 1853 to provide carriage service between Chicago’s rail stations and downtown hotels.
