Like abandoned pets, thousands of inflatable water toys are left behind each year by beach vacationers. Now, one hotel in Majorca has turned them into a service by allowing new visitors to adopt one instead of buying.
A survey for Hotels.com showed that nearly half of British families visiting Spain bought one during their trip, often abandoning it rather than trying to fit it into an ungenerous baggage allowance.
The poll ranked the inflatables #2 after sunscreen as the item most often left behind, followed by sunglasses. Here’s the list of the most common left-behinds…
