One fun stop we took in New Brunswick was to the Kedgwick Forestry Village and Museum in the heart of the Appalachian woodlands in New Brunswick.
The museum shows lumbering techniques and equipment and the history of Kedgwick’s colonization and log driving on the Restigouche river.
After looking at the museum, they offer a guided tour of 14 replica loggers camps in the back that show woodman’s camps from 1865 to 1963 .
I love museums that show how people lived their lives and why I love visiting historic houses, grand & modest. This is another good one. Thanks, Rob.
