A new ski pass called Ikon allows skiiers to use facilities at 23 resorts across the U.S. and Canada, including ones belonging to several of the best known resort operators.
The pass resorts include Squaw Valley, Mammoth Mountain, Aspen Snowmass, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in the US and Tremblant in Canada. The pass is issued by Alterra Mountain Company; its partners in the pass scheme include Aspen Skiing Company, Alta Ski Area, Boyne Resorts, Jackson Hole Mountain Resorts, Powdr and Snowbird. They include sites in nine US states from California to Vermont and cover three Canadian provinces.
Prices and number of days allowed at each facility will be announced in the Spring.
