When we visited Halifax, we went on a food tour that was good but largely forgettable, with the exception of one of our last stops, which was at Rousseau Chocolatier. Situated a few blocks uphill from the harbor, the display of chocolates and macaroons was phenomenal, and those samples we tried were fantastic!
I love good chocolate for it’s rich flavors! I’m not sure any food item works better as an art-form than chocolate, and the folks at Rousseau are artists. The combination of a visually appealing and delicious treat is something I really enjoy!
You can even watch these treats being made if you want.
A large variety of products are available, from gift boxes to artisan bars to macaroons in a mouth-watering variety of flavors. Definitely one of my favorite places in Halifax!
