April 11, 2018: Consulate General of Mexico, San Antonio

While walking around downtown San Antonio Texas earlier this year we came across the Consulate General of Mexico, also known as the Mexican Embassy.   It is a really cool building and reminded us of a bank or a vault. Pretty interesting. Anyway, the Mexican consulate general is one of 1658 foreign representations in the United States, and one of 8 foreign representations in San Antonio.

Incidentally, it’s the first One-Clue Mystery target to go unrecognized!

MX Embassy 2Apparently Mexico has 54 other representations in the United States as well. These representations include an embassy in Washington, D.C. consulates in Albuquerque, Atlanta, Austin, Boise, Boston, Brownsville, Calexico, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Del Rio, Denver, Detroit, Douglas, Eagle Pass, El Paso, Fresno, Honolulu, Houston, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Laredo, Las Vegas, Little Rock, Los Angeles, Madison, McAllen, Miami, Milwaukee, New Orleans, New York, Nogales, AZ, Omaha, Orlando, Oxnard, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, OR, Presidio, Raleigh, Richmond, Sacramento, Salinas, Salt Lake City, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, CA, Santa Ana, Seattle, St. Paul, Tucson, and Yuma.
