Driving along the Lincoln Highway (Route 30) in central rural Pennsylvania, I came across this barn with murals. After a few miles down the road, I decided to backtrack and capture some photos. I saw the murals were sponsored by UPMC (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center) but was curious as to who the artist was.
A little further down the road was the restored train depot of Stoyestown Pennsylvania. The tracks were long gone, but inside the station was a recreation of passengers, station ticket masters and luggage from a bygone era.
And in the nearby parking lot was a red Ford Galaxie 500 convertible with a covered bridge in the background. Remember when a radio was an optional accessory and if you wanted FM capability, that was an extra upcharge?
