Boarding the train at Place d’Italie (see video below) they set up a table, covered it with a polka-dot tablecloth and laid out cold meats, potatoes, pickles and bread. With no electricity available, they used small candles to melt the cheese.
There were no problems with fellow-riders, who mostly stood around and made videos with their phones. One employee attempted to break up the party because of the candles, but at that point they were not lit. Later, the train driver walked back to have his photo taken with the group.
