While visiting an alpaca farm in Oregon, I got to see these unbearably cute alpacas, who had been shorn of their wool. There are bad haircuts and there are bad haircuts, but these might take the cake.
Alpaca wool is prized for knitting, and the farm, like others in the Columbia River valley, has its own yarn store, where I bought wool for a sweater.
And here’s what they look like wearing their wool coats. This crew is in Allersburg, Germany. Somehow, even unshorn, they are a bit Dr. Seuss-ish!
