From music to wine to sports, this month is full of big events in Germany.
Just for a start, Leipzig, where Bach spent most of his career, is hosting its annual Bach Festival from June 8th to the 17th, with a full program of events and concerts, many of them free.
In Assmannhausen (Rüdesheim am Rhein), June 15th to 17th is wine festival time, celebrating the area’s (surprising for Germany) red wine. There will be tastings, dancing, music, food and even free cooking classes.
