Hmmm, ‘Dry Bay’ ?
Does that mean you couldn’t even celebrate with a few beers ? 😕
Dry Bay because it’s been largely sedimented in. We finished the Yukon beer we had with us on that last night, an unusually warm and rain free one. We had 16 inches of rain in the preceeding three days so this was appreciated.
Still lots of ice in the area including glaciers that extend into the rivers and lakes. The area is an interesting mix of retreating and surging glaciers.
