August 11, 2018: Delft violin, Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam

If you had to answer the question, is it art, or is it music, you’d probably have to say both, even though this 1705 Delft porcelain violin has never played a note…and can’t. It’s part of a Rijksmuseum gallery exhibiting amazing Delft creations, although its maker is unknown.
