Swedish National Museum reopens

Sweden’s National Museum, which has been closed since 2012 for a major renovation and re-imagination, re-opened Saturday with major new displays and galleries.

The five-year renovation not only updated the museum’s building and displays, but also added space for a collection that’s doubled in size during the time it was closed. Admission to the museum is free.
