December 6, 2018: Street Vendor, Holguin, Cuba

Many tourists comment on how “Third World” their vacation destination was. I think this is about as poor as people get. No fresh water, no electricity and when it rains it all gets washed away. But they survive with a wonderful outlook on life. Amazing and friendly people. An experience to remember.

It’s always an eye opener to see people with very little who are really happy without all our ‘stuff’ !

A huge plus point of not having much is that if (or when) the worst happens, they are able to rebuild in a short time with the help of family and friends.
