FLIO, the sort of airport Swiss-Army-knife we’ve recommended before has added a new arrow to its quiver: if you’re bumped or delayed and owed compensation by an airline, FLIO will let you know right away and tell you where to file.
That could be especially useful in flights involving the EU, where compensation happens under rules much broader than in the U.S. The feature works for flights that have been added to your account on the app.
FLIO, which is free and works on Android and iOS devices, aggregates a wide variety of useful-in-the-airport tools, including finding and logging into airport free WiFi at hundreds of airports. It also uses GPS and its vast database to find you the nearest bathroom, power receptacles, shortcuts to your gate and more, as well as sending you notifications of gate and flight changes.
