One of New York’s best-known landmarks has added a new feature: Two high-resolution live cameras that will livestream a changing view of New York City from high on the tower, and a second that could best be described as a high-tech selfie.
The ‘selfie cam’ will be mounted on another building, near Grand Central Terminal, owned by the same company. While the camera mounted on the 103rd floor of the Empire State will have panoramic views of the city, the other will stay focused on the Empire State and its changing lights.
The scene can be seen HERE In addition to the ESB Cam and the South View cam, there’s a clickable page of highlights captured by the cameras, including spectacular sunrises and sunsets.
