July 22, 2019: The Doll’s House, Berlin

Came across this rather attractive collection of stuffed animals sitting on the street in the Nikolai (Nicholas) district of Old Berlin.  It is an old neighborhood, home to Berlin’s oldest church, but these stuffed bears definitely belonged here.

These bears lived across the street in “Die Puppenstube”, translated to “doll’s room” or “doll’s house”.  The shop offered a wonderful collection of stuffed animals, with a large assortment of other child-oriented toys are also for sale.

I, however, am fond of teddy bears and that’s why I thought I’d share with you today.
