The Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo opened in December of 2014 in Sunshine City Shopping Center, Ikebukuro, Tokyo. It carries a wide variety of exclusive merchandise.
The original Pokémon Center opened up in Tokyo in 1998 and moved a couple of times to this location. The Pokémon Company also expanded and opened up Centers throughout Japan and in Singapore. NYC had one too before being merged into Nintendo World.
