Canada’s WestJet, the discount carrier which only a short while ago was busy becoming Canada’s #2 domestic carrier, is now pushing its network further into Europe.
Next summer it will expand its European routes beyond the UK and Paris by adding flights to Rome, using its new 787s to provide non-stop service from Calgary, with other cities in its sights.
WestJet is also increasing frequencies on numbers of its European routes, including between its home base at Calgary and Dublin and Paris.
