St Augustine extends ‘Night of Lights’

St Augustine, Florida knows what to do with a popular attraction: Make it last longer. This year, its popular ‘Night of Lights’ will last all the way from just before Thanksgiving to February 20th.

The annual event starts with the lighting of the city’s holiday tree and bright light displays in Plaza de la Constitucion and other areas of the city. A series of weekend events follows, including a Christmas parade, a boat parade and more.

Avoiding traffic getting to the lights will be easier this year, too, with the addition of a free shuttle into the area on the busiest dates, which include November 23, November 29-30 and every Saturday in December. Shuttles will run from 8 am to 11 pm.
