Flixbus, the discount bus operator that’s spread across Europe in recent years is now expanding rapidly in the U.S., and is offering a fare sale to get your attention.
From now through December 22, you can buy tickets for 99c each way between a variety of U.S. cities for travel between January 6 and March 15. The tickets are available on the company’s website.
Flixbus is obviously aiming at taking market share from Megabus and Boltbus, its two major discount competitors. Megabus recently ran a 200,000-ticket giveaway for travel early next year. Like Flixbus, Megabus is European-owned, a subdidiary of Britain’s Stagecoach group. Boltbus is owned by Greyhound.
