Jan. 22. 2020: Kuhio Beach Hula Show Performers

A few years ago Gene and I spent Christmas and New Years in Hawaii. It was truly heavenly. The weather was perfect, and the water was amazing. While there we were able to see the Kuhio Beach Hula Show. It was so entertaining, and FREE.

This is an authentic Hawaiian music and hula show led by Hawaii’s finest Hawaiian performers. The show opens with torch lighting and traditional blowing of conch shell. It run Tues-Thurs-Sat, weather-permitting. 6:30-7:30 p.m. (6:00-7:00 p.m. Nov-Dec-Jan) at the Kuhio Beach Hula Mound, diagonally across Kalakaua Ave. from Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach hotel at Uluniu Ave. If in the area, you should check it our. Casual, seating on the grass; beach chairs, mats, etc. okay. The performers were wonderful and even posed with many people for pictures after the show. Highly recommend this show to people of all ages.
