A London crosswalk, or zebra crossing, that’s a visitor attraction because of its star turn on the cover of the Beatles’ Abbey Road album, has gotten a make-over while the busy street was temporarily clear because of the virus lockdown.
The intersection, just outside the Abbey Road Studios where the Fab Four recorded many of their albums, is often thronged with visitors taking their own versions of the famous scene. As well, it’s an occasional spot for more famous visitors, such as Prince Harry, below, at left.
