Denmark’s chief health officer says Danes shouldn’t worry too much about social distancing when it comes to a truly basic urge; he held a press conference to announce that “Sex is good.”
Actually, he said more than that, telling reporters that “Sex is good. Sex is healthy. We are sexual beings, and of course you can have sex in this situation. As with any other human contact, there is a risk of infection. But of course one must be able to have sex.”
Søren Brostrøm, the Director General of the Danish Health Authority, said that even singles who have a relatively high number of different sexual partners should not feel inhibited by social distancing measures.” He added that coronavirus isn’t spread by sex, there is still a risk of inhaling the virus.
So maybe it’s time for both condoms and masks.
