Sitting off Seward’s main drag is a pretty little church that drew us to it. It was St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
The church building was constructed between 1905 and 1906 and was consecrated April 1906. It remains an active parish. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
Unfortunately the church was locked and we could not explore the interior, which I’m sure are simple but charming.
