A sudden and fierce storm at Qatar’s Hamad International Airport last week caused to Qatar Airways planes to suffer damage in a ground collision.
The wind gusts tore a Boeing 787-8 from its ground cables, allowing it to cross a short stretch of runway before colliding with an A350-900. Both planes, which had neither passengers nor crew aboard, suffered what the airline says was only minor damage.
