This week, I have traveled back into my archives, and found this photo I took in 2014 when I was visiting the Painted Desert/Petrified Forrest, in Arizona. While I had stopped to look at some of the old logs, there was a thunderstorm passing off to the west.
Desert View Watchtower, Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona
A visit to the Desert View Watchtower on the eastern portion of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. Constructed in the 1930s, it offers magnificent canyon views and a tie to the Native American history of the Canyon.
I love seeing storm clouds like this move over the landscape!
