Grey Friars Square, in Copenhagen’s Latin Quarter, is a pleasant space characterized by colorful houses and a number of restaurants.

The square is named after a cloister built here in 1238 by Franciscan monks.  The monks remained until around the time of the Reformation (1530).  The homes currently found around the square date to the 1730s.

We visited on a pleasant warm fall evening.  It was a lovely place to relax and enjoy a nice dinner.
