Roman Chester, England

Chester contains a wonderful mix of Architecture. The sandstone Archway was built by the Roman Invaders in the First Century around 75 AD. The surrounding Tudor buildings date from 1664. Chester is a walled city, enclosed within a Sandstone Wall 2000 years ago. You can still walk around the city on its elevated pathway and look down into the city centre.
