August 12, 2020: Eagles in Juneau, Alaska

My husband Gene and I just returned from a trip to Alaska. It was amazing. A lot of stuff was still closed, but it felt like the off season during the summer. One thing nice was that there wasn’t a lot of tourist. We were able to see some things we may not have seen if the crowds were around. One thing we did see a lot of was eagles. They are so beautiful and majestic.

Eagle 1For those that don’t know, the eagle represents freedom. Living as he does on the tops of lofty mountains, amid the solitary grandeur of Nature, he has unlimited freedom, whether with strong pinions he sweeps into the valleys below, or upward into the boundless spaces beyond. It rained a lot while we were there so they were all wet, but still so beautiful.
