The “Farthest North Antler Arch” is located in central Fairbanks, adjoining the Chena River. The arch was built in 2010 and is comprised of antlers collected from all corners of Alaska, over 100 antlers in total.
It was built at a cost of $25,000. The arch was designed as a symbol of significance of wildlife and hunting to the region, with many of them collected from the animals who shed their antlers every year.
