Japan, Korea and Taiwan topped a list of post-pandemic travel goals in a recent survey that drew 6,200 responses from potential travelers in twelve countries including the U.S., China, France and Korea.
Eighty-two percent of respondents said they plan to travel overseas when it’s safe to do so; of those 46% named Japan as their first choice, followed by Korea at 22% and Taiwan at 17%.
The on-line survey was conducted by Japan’s Development Bank and Japan Travel Bureau Federation, both of which might not be exactly neutral on the question. Results for other countries were not broken down, and the distribution of the participants was not listed.
