It was a hot and humid Wednesday in August, and I was looking for an escape. So i headed out to Coney island, looking for an ocean breeze. What i found was some on-shore fog (probably caused by a coastal inversion). That, along with COVID, made for an empty boardwalk.
A visit to the Desert View Watchtower on the eastern portion of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. Constructed in the 1930s, it offers magnificent canyon views and a tie to the Native American history of the Canyon.
