United Airlines has added an oldie-but-goodie that lets you choose a place to go based on how much you can spend or what you’d like to see or do when you get there.
Similar to features that vanished from airfare search sites about ten years ago, United now lets you choose a budget, a type of destination, or an activity, and get a list of choices. For example, From Chicago, for $300 a good place for hiking. From New York, for $500, a place for romance. Additional filters, including National Parks, are being added.
And for those who are into nostalgia, the map, powered by Google Flight Search, can also pull up a map of everywhere you’ve been on United.
