Phang Nga Bay is northeast of Phuket, Thailand. The islands are limestone karst towers and part of Ao Phang Nga National Park.
This day I board a long boat for a spectacular journey to Ko Ta Pu, better known as James Bond Island since the 1974 movie “The Man with the Golden Gun.”
The hideout was where Bond’s antagonist Francisco Scaramango was headquartered. After the movie release the island turned into a popular tourist destination. Before 1974, the island was rarely visited.
There’s a lot more information available from Tourism Thailand
